Hello Everyone,
My journey to relaxation begins with prayer everyday and every night. I'm not a Christian, but I believe in the Christian faith that Jesus is real. I make sure that every morning I wake up I pray for another day of life that is granted to me. I think without me praying my day get hectic, because prayer eases the mind with a lot of built emotions from life circumstances. Every night, before I go to bed I say the Our Father's Prayer, The Lord is My Shepard, and numerous other prayers for myself, my family, and individuals I don't know that need prayer so that our lives will be strengthen. I would like to get into going to the park more often like I use to, because walking around and around the lake in the park and seeing the ducks would ease my mind, which it also promote happiness. Great energy is always a warm feeling when you are surrounded by nature. I also, want to try yoga and meditation, because as I've seen and heard it relaxes the mind, calm the body, and promote health and wellness.

Welcome Everyone!
Hello,
My name is Sonya Singletary. I reside in Lake City, South Carolina, which I have been staying most of my life. I'm a military veteran, which I have served in Baghdad, Iraq in 2005-2006. I've been going to Kaplan for 4 years and this is my last semester. I've learn so much oh this journey through psychology that I'm privilege and honor to take this course. I notice this course while I was signing up for my final classes and I thought this was going to be an exciting course. I'm always thinking about ways that the mind can be free where we can live a happy and peaceful life. I'm also, expecting a baby that will be here if all goes well on October 15, 2014; which I think will add happiness to my life and promote wellness. I hope you all enjoyed this course and our topics that will come in our blog; which I look forward to reading all of you all blog!
